First Day Work!

A report from the field:

Day 1

Red team
We worked at the parsonage of Pastor Racquel and Pastor Craig.  We set up a fence and painted it. We also applied water sealant to the porch and siding of the patronage. We also learned a little bit about the Navaho culture and a little bit about the pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Shiprock. Overall it was a fun and productive day.

Blue team
We did some demo on a deck and got it primed and ready to paint tomorrow. During lunch Mr. Sandovall gave us his life story and it was really interesting how the code talkers benefited to the war effort! Tomorrow we paint the fence posts and deck blue.
